CHILEAN AVOCADO IMPORTERS ASSOCIATION AND FRANKTITUDE TO FEATURE FREE “COMPLETO FRANK” SAMPLING AT THE DOLPHIN MALL
MIAMI, Fla. – (Dec. 10, 2008) The Chilean Avocado Importers Association (CAIA) has partnered with Franktitude, a Miami-based hot dog chain which allows consumers to customize their order from a variety of 50 toppings, to bring delicious “Completo Franks” to its location at the Dolphin Mall.
Starting December 13, the Franktitude location at the Dolphin Mall will be giving free samples of their signature “Completo Frank” – a delicious frankfurter topped with Chilean Hass Avocado spread, cheese, diced tomato and mayo. Samples will be available each Saturday (December 13, 20, and 27) from 2-5 p.m.
“We are so happy to do this promotion with the Chilean Avocado Importers Association. As a Chilean, I couldn’t be more thrilled to bring a small taste of my country to the Miami market,” said Amancia Vial Ducaud, owner of the Dolphin Mall Franktitude. “Avocados are an integral part of our culture in Chile, and it is exciting to share it with the city that has adopted me for the past two decades.”

The Chilean Avocado Importers Association, established in 2002, is composed of Chilean avocado importers, exporters and producers. The association’s main objective is to conduct market development activities and promotions to increase the consumption of Chilean Hass avocados in the United States during the Chilean season, August through February. Chilean Hass avocados are available throughout the fall and winter, when California avocados are out of season.
