For producers of Hass Avocados in Chile, it is essential that customers receive a product that is healthy, clean and of exceptional quality.
To this end, most of the orchards have gone through implementation and certification under the standards of EurepGAP, TESCO Nature’s Choice, GAP, ChileGAP, Food Safety and others.
Exporters have likewise implemented Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), BRC and other standards in their packing plants.
With these systems working together it is possible to ensure full trackability/traceability of the product from the box to the particular sector of the orchard where it was harvested. |
